Data mining is one of the topics for this module. The data is one of the most valuable assets in the current business scenario. The businesses more relies on the data-driven decision making rather than the traditional decision making based on the subjective factors. As it has been mentioned in the textbook, data mining can be performed by various methods including data exploration and reduction, classification, association, and cause-and-effect modelling (Evans, 2016).
